Read the text “Lion Claw” and name described feelings
Oh, great… But it is not my fault, it’s all because of this chump, what was he doing on that defence, sleeping? And now everyone will blame me. Everyone knows how to be a goalkeeper, especially when they sit in the stands. Oh, great, just wonderful! Again they let him one‑to‑one! The defence is full of holes! If I let in the goal now we will lose for sure. And we can say goodbye to championships. And the coach will kick me out of the team… What are you doing you clumsy oaf?! Oh, just what I needed! A penalty! I have never defended a penalty kick in competitions. Everyone will laugh at me again. I feel sweat running down my back, my legs are like jelly, my heart is up in my throat…Ok, I need to focus. Oh dear, this strapper is going to shot, they call him „a Sniper”.
I can get off this field right now. What a silly feeling when everyone looks at you. They even do not shout any more, they just fixate on you as if it may help. It doesn’t help for heaven’s sake! The Sniper grins and brazenly stares at me, he even sticks his tongue out. The blood rushes to my face. I will show him! I don’t believe! I defended! I’m relievedrelieved! I feel I have wings! Hooray! The crowd goes wild! My friends cheer. The strapper swears under his breath. Ha, ha, serves him right! He shouldn’t have stuck his tongue at me. Well, I had a bit of luck…Nevermind. And Kasia from 6b looks so pretty in the stands and she smiles so lovely…Maybe at me? Yes, at me, she even winked and waved at me! Oooh… Maybe I will invite her for ice‑cream after the match if today is such a good day for me…
