There is a variety of manifestations of violations of fundamental rights and freedoms. The most dangerous are human rights violations on a large scale (so‑called mass violations of human rights) – genocide or ethnic cleansing, persecution of minorities (national, ethnic, racial), sending political opponents to labor camps. Name a few historical or contemporary examples of human rights violations in various areas of life.
Recall the rights and freedoms the Constitution guarantees to Polish citizens. You can find some examples below. Mark the general principles with green, the personal freedoms and rights – with yellow, and the political rights and freedoms – with blue. Which of these rights and freedoms do you find most important? Justify your choice.
