A Week in My Busy LifeYesterday Philip asked me out. But the problem is that I don’t have time to meet him. I have tons of additional lessons and extracurricularextracurricular activities because I’m too indecisive to choose a majormajor! Well, I chose too many classes, so now I’m strugglingstruggling. I have tutorstutors who teach me MathematicsMathematics and the sciences: ChemistryChemistry and PhysicsPhysics, because that’s my main focus. I meet them on Mondays and Wednesdays. Then, on Tuesdays and Thursdays I have BiologyBiology and GeographyGeography, because you need them for certain studies as well. And on Fridays, I finally can chill outchill out a bit, because I just have ArtsArts and dancing classes which are far more exciting than my PE/Physical EducationPE/Physical Education. Thank God I changed my mind and didn’t sign up for the HistoryHistory course!
And don’t even get me started about the extracurriculars. My school offers so many to choose from: the Chess ClubChess Club, the swimming team, Creative Writing, and plenty of others. Again, I couldn’t decide so I chose a couple. I’m in the Debate TeamDebate Team in my school, and the Drama ClubDrama Club - they go surprisingly well together. The skills I learn, for instance speaking in public or using rhetoricrhetoric and building a convincing argument, are very useful when I need to give presentations in class.
I’m genuinelygenuinely sorry I can’t fit anything else in my schedule - there are so many great subjects and activities out there that I’d like to try out! I’d love to be able to do some social studiessocial studies - CivicsCivics, or EconomicsEconomics, but my day has only so few hours, and I need to eat and sleep sometimes...
