Present Simple
CzasuPresent Simpleużywamy do mówienia o czynnościach rutynowych lub stanach stałych, które nie są tymczasowe (na przykład: Mieszkam w Warszawie. Chodzę do szkoły. Codziennie jem śniadanie). Używamy go także, aby mówić o faktach naukowych oraz zjawiskach uniwersalnych (na przykład: Woda gotuje się w 100 stopniach.)
a) Tworzenie zdań twierdzących
W zdaniach twierdzących używamy formy podstawowej czasownika, z wyjątkiem 3 osoby liczby pojedynczej, gdzie dodajemy końcówkę-slub-es.

Słucham nauczyciela podczas lekcji.). CzasuPresent Continuousużywamy też, gdy mówimy o planach na najbliższą przyszłość, co do których wiemy, że zostaną zrealizowane.
