How do you feel about school uniformsschool uniforms [school uniform]school uniforms? - we asked the students in our school. Some of them believe that uniforms are important. Others disagree and say that we should dress however we want. Our team picked a few responsesresponses [response]responses to show you what your school friends think about it.

Brian - Year 7.

I hate our school uniforms. Why do boys have to wear red blazersblazers [blazer]blazers and yellow ties? This doesn’t look good at all! We can’t even pickpickpick the colour of our shirtsshirts [shirt]shirts and pants. All of our shirts have to be white. Our pants need to be black. Sarah - Year 8.

I don’t have a strong opinion on school uniforms. The ones we have are quite pretty. I like the pulloverpulloverpullover and the skirtskirtskirt that girls have to wear. Then again, I feel like my own clothes are nicer. I like wearing different things. The uniforms are not creativecreativecreative. I think that the school should allow us to add accessories to our uniforms. I can wear the pullover and the skirt, but I want to pick some beltsbeltsbelts or socks for example! This will help me look like myself.

Jasmine - Year 7.

I think that school uniforms are great! It’s good that everyone looks the same. At school we should learn and not focus onfocus onfocus on fashion. And our school uniforms are so pretty! Red and yellow go well together. I know that some students dislike our blazers and pullovers, but I think that they look elegant!
