The Future is NowAll of us have seen films where people can travel long distances within minutes and flying cars are totally natural. What would you say if such models were not only our imaginationimagination? Technologies are getting more and more advancedadvanced. Scientists believe that soon the way we travel will change completely. Take a closer look at four types of future transport you should know about.
Sky taxi
When you live in the city, it is often difficult to get from one place to another. There are many cars on the roads and traffic jamstraffic jams happen all the time. There are specialists who suggest that air transport might be a solutionsolution. Imagine helicopters which are like flying taxis. However, there is still a problem connected with places where such helicopters may take offtake off and land. The most realistic plan is to build landing centreslanding centres on rooftopsrooftops of skyscrapersskyscrapers.
HyperloopHyperloop
The idea of a hyperloop is an innovationinnovation which connects cheap road transport with the plane speedspeed. The concept is based onbased on a modern high‑speed railhigh‑speed rail that may take its passengerspassengers from one city to another in minutes. You may call it a fast train in a special tunnel. The first hyperloop prototypeprototype was made in 2017 and the first people experienced a hyperloop ride in 2020.
Drone Bus
Flying taxis may be a great solution in big cities for those who want to avoidavoid traffic jams. However, imagine mass air transportmass air transport on a drone busdrone bus. It can take up to 50 people and a flightflight from London to Paris would take only one hour. A big advantageadvantage of that kind of transport is that it can land much closer to city centres than a plane. There are transport companiescompanies all over the world already working on that idea.
Cars of the future
HybridHybrid and electric cars are our reality now. But what would you say to an interesting concept of wireless battery chargerswireless battery chargers for cars, vans, and lorries.
