Average‑size cars turn into giant robots and go to war with humans. Optimus Prime, the leader, is gone, and a simple stereotypicalstereotypicalstereotypical mechanic turns out to be the only saviour of the world. The movie starts and finishes with a total mess. The audience was blown away by how bad the film was. Even Tom Cruise, playing the main character, or Russell Crowe were not able to save it. The action is set inbe set inis set in modern times on the desert, where Nick Morton plundersplunders [plunder]plunders ancient sites for artefacts and trades them to gain money. By a series of accidental and far‑fetchedfar‑fetchedfar‑fetched events, Ahmanet, a betrayed Egyptian princess, is awakened. With her powers she becomes deadly and dangerous for everybody. UnconvincingunconvincingUnconvincing, and pretty confusingconfusingconfusing, the plot has little to do with a horror movie.

F. #3 After Earth

Box office: 30 million dollars loss

The post‑apocalyptic movie conceptconceptconcept and the plot actually seem to be good. The film is about family bonds between general Cypher and his son Kitai, who is under pressure to become a legend, like his father. While travelling, their spaceship gets destroyed and father injured, so the teenager needs to take control over the mission and prove his courage. The film, whose screenwriterscreenwriterscreenwriter was Gary Whitta, turns out to be really dull.
