Being a makeup artist has its bright and dark sides. It’s definitely an exciting job which gives opportunities to travel and meet interesting people. However, what is a perkperkperk for some can be a cursecursecurse for others. The job often requires travelling a lot and, which may be a challenge for some. Celebrities can be demandingdemandingdemanding and fussyfussyfussy because they don't want to be criticised for their makeup artists’ work. They know that the whole world is looking at them so they want to look perfect. This is why there's a lot of pressure in this particular area. On the other hand, once an artist has created their own brand and has gained popularity on the market, it’s a job which more than just pays the bills.
