Hello. I’m Akinyi and I live in Kenya. We don’t know what springspring spring, summersummer summer, autumnautumn autumn and winterwinterwinter are. We have only two seasons here: the dry seasondry seasondry season and the wet seasonwet seasonwet season.
The dry season starts in June and finishes in October. The weather is very hothot hot and sunnysunny sunny then. Temperatures are around 27–35°C (CelsiusCelsius Celsius). In the dry season we usually wear shortsshorts shorts or skirtsskirts [skirt]skirts, T‑shirtsT‑shirtT‑shirts, dressesdresses [dress]dresses, sandalssandals [sandal]sandals and sunglassessunglasses sunglasses.
During the wet season, from November to May, daytime temperatures are between 22–30°C but it is rainyrainy rainy and cloudycloudy cloudy. We still wear shorts, T‑shirts, dresses etcetc.etc. because it’s hot outside. But sometimes we need a coatcoatcoat or an umbrellaumbrella umbrella when it rains.
I don’t know what snow looks like. I don’t have a scarfscarf scarf, a hathat hat or glovesgloves [glove]gloves. Snow must be funny!
