Making an Exciting Plan For an International TripDear Maggie,
Hope you are well! Have you made any exciting trips recently? I know you are a bit of a traveller, so you may be interested in my plans for the oncoming holiday. I am so thrilled about it! My parents have finally agreed to my going to Cuba in the summer! As you know, they had so many doubts about the plan, as the country used to be a bit dangerous and unstable. Luckily, they said yes, so I’m going together with a few other girls from our class. First, we are boardingboarding a plane from Warsaw to Frankfurt as there are no direct connections between Poland and Cuba. From there, we could actually find a direct flightdirect flight to Havana but those are quite expensive. That is why we are bookingbooking economy classeconomy class seats on a plane from Frankfurt to Miami and having a stopoverstopover there. In Miami, we are spending two days in a hotel and visiting all the interesting places in the city. Well, we might also have to recover from jetlagjetlag there, as many people have it after a transatlantic flighttransatlantic flight. After that, we are using an airport transitairport transit provided by the hotel and boarding a direct flight to Havana. In Cuba, we would like to get to quite a few remote locations only accessible by a plane. For those trips, we are using domestic flights, domestic flights, which are usually quite short. Believe it or not, we are using business classbusiness class in Cuba as it is surprisingly cheap. We are staying in Cuba for two weeks and returning using the same itineraryitinerary as before. I only hope all flights depart on timeon time and there will be no unexpected delaysdelays. If any of the flights are cancelledcancelled, we may end up with massive complications and possible detoursdetours. These could make the whole plan collapse and force us to book additional nights at hotels. But we are hopeful this won’t happen and we will have a great time. I will be sure to send you a card from Cuba and take lots of photos. I will be sharing them on social media all the time, so watch that space!
See you after I return home.
Love,
Jenny
