Four Seasons of the YearHi. My name is Olivia and I am from Sydney in Australia. Australia is a country with all four seasonsseasons. There is summersummer, autumnautumn, winterwinter, and springspring. When it is winter in Europe, it is summer here!
Summer is also the time for our holidays! The summer monthsmonths in Australia are DecemberDecember, JanuaryJanuary, and FebruaryFebruary. It is usually sunnysunny and hothot here. I really like going to the beachbeach. I’m good atgood at surfing. My favourite time in summer is ChristmasChristmas. We always go to the beach and have Christmas lunchChristmas lunch. There are many SantasSantas on the beach then.
Autumn months are MarchMarch, AprilApril, and MayMay. It is usually cloudycloudy, windywindy, and coolcool in autumn. It often rainsrains so it’s good to have an umbrella with you. In autumn the trees are beautiful because the leavesleaves are red, orange, yellow and brown. When the weather is cool and sunny, I go for long walks and take photos.
Winter is in JuneJune, JulyJuly and AugustAugust. These are the coldestthe coldest months in Australia and it is snowysnowy in some places. It is often rainyrainy and stormystormy in winter, too. I usually go with my parents to the mountainsmountains to ski. I love snow but I don’t like it when it is very cold.
Spring is in SeptemberSeptember, OctoberOctober, and NovemberNovember. It is usually sunny and warmwarm, but sometimes it is also rainy and windy in spring. There are a lot of flowers and animals have babies. I really like going to the zoo to see baby koalas and baby kangaroos.
