Uczniowie sprawdzają ćwiczenie z nauczycielem.
Nauczyciel dzieli klasę na 3‑osobowe grupy (uczeń A, B, i C) – każdy otrzymuje inną część karty z ćwiczeniem nr (ii). Uczniowie odgrywają scenkę u lekarza, w której jeden z nich jest lekarzem, drugi pacjentem, a trzeci „łącznikiem”. Lekarz z pacjentem mogą rozmawiać jedynie przez „łącznika”, który przekazuje ich słowa, używając mowy zależnej i omawianych czasowników. Potem uczniowie zamieniają się rolami tak, aby każdy z nich miał okazję być łącznikiem (do odegrania są trzy scenki.)
jeśli jest to konieczne – powtórzenie słownictwa związanego ze zdrowiem/wizytą u lekarza.
Faza podsumowująca
Uczniowie, wraz z nauczycielem, nawzajem oceniają swoje wyniki w roli „łączników”.
