Exercise 8

Local authorities want to hear from its inhabitants if it would be a good idea to organise a marathon next year. In the forum entry to the students of your school:

  •  explain why your town would be a good place to organise such an event;

  •  write what the runners could do after finishing the race;

  •  suggest the best month to organise it;

  •  describe the benefit to the city of organising the marathon and mention the possible inconvenience this would cause.
