Hi Everyone! Today I have a super practical topic for you - insurance. It’s really worth knowing how different types of insurance work.
Insurance is a legal agreement between you and an insurer. You pay premiums, regular payments to the insurance company, and if you are in trouble, the company pays you the insurance amount. People buy insurance to feel safe and protected.
Take automobile insurance. The basic one is obligatory for every driver, but you can buy a comprehensive package to protect your vehicle from theft or even flood.
My parents bought additional health insurance and once it turned out really useful. When my dad broke his leg and couldn’t work for many months, the insurer paid for his operation and rehabilitation. Without that money, it would have been hard for us.
A piece of advice for all of you who travel. Don’t try to save on travel insurance. Buy it! Lost luggage, cancelled flights, stolen passports, etc. can spoil your holiday.
