I had a dream last night and in the dream, I saw our future. It was amazing! Everything was so… digital. There were no textbooks, no paper and no heavy industry, which was really ecological. People worked mainly creating new software for laptops and tablets or programming robots. It seemed that it wasn’t really hard or stressful. Nobody commuted to work or to school as everybody worked and studied online. To my surprise, I discovered that all the things I touched were fully interactive - walls, desks, even windows! But then, I realised one thing‑an absolutely enormous downside of the beautiful digital world. People didn’t socialize anymore! There were no friends, no chats in the cafes, and everyone seemed as lonely as never before. Then I woke up! I felt weird, and didn’t know what to think about it at first, but also happy it had been nothing but a bad dream.
