Hi Tom,

I have recently watched a very interesting documentary about the metaverse and I just have to share with you what I’ve learnt!

The metaverse is an immersive virtual reality in which people will engage in interaction with others by means of avatars. The best thing about it is the fact that we will be able to experience it with all our senses. It’s not the same as the internet, which is a network of information. The metaverse will be a network of experiences.

It will change the way we learn and work. Everything will be remote and interactive.

The metaverse is not yet fully functional because the computing power of our hardware is not enough to ensure full connectivity. However, technology is constantly developing and new services are added to the metaverse.

I have some doubts regarding the protection of our personal data in the metaverse. I hope relevant regulations will be put in place to make it all safe.
