what doubts they may have about the effectiveness of the trial;
what they might be worried about in reference to money;
how they may be unsure about understanding the medical jargon used in the trial.

Exercise 8
Many patients who have used available conventional treatments which proved unsuccessful, choose to participate in trials of new drugs or medical procedures. Write an essay in which you present your opinion on the advantages and disadvantages of such a decision, referring to the following aspects: the health of test participants and the attitude of the test organisers.
