Do you know what to pay attention to when dealing with perishable food?
Here are the key rules:
Don’t buy in bulk, because you won’t be able to consume all the food before the use‑by date.
If you notice that a vegetable or fruit is rotten, don’t eat it. Use if for composting though.
Any mouldy product should not be consumed.
Always check the best before and use‑by dates on product labels.
Remember that many products can be repurposed, for example stale bread can be made into breadcrumbs and dinner leftovers can be used to make another dish.
Generally, try to minimise your food waste by buying only the things that you need, using all the edible parts of vegetables and fruit in your meals, and making creative use of leftovers.

Hello everybody,
Today, I would like to write something about the philosophy of zero food waste.
In my view, that is one of the best ideas that we have had in recent years. It not only helps to make full use of the food that we have, but also saves money, time, and valuable resources like water.
Here are some highlights that you may find useful. It is important to start with planning ahead and sticking to the shopping list. You can also try batch cooking to prepare more food for later.
This made me want to try something new, so how about exchanging your recipes for a leftover meal? We could compare our tricks on how to make something edible and tasty!
I hope I gave you some food for thought. Don’t hesitate to leave a comment below! I'd love to know your opinions!
