Highlight all the words and phrases connected to ways of preventing the negative consequences of social media use in orange.
Whether we like it or not, social media has changed our lives. We don’t only have offline friends now, as social networking sites have made both making new friends, as well as communication with family members and friends so much easier. Additionally, media sharing networks have enabled us to share visual content and skills. At the same time, fake news which distort the truth or blatantly lie about reality causes great panic among recipients, and cyberbullying or trolling have become serious problems, for example on discussion forums. You may find texts in blogosphere which either promote body positivity, or include content triggering the development of negative body image. What can we do about it? The key words are moderation and mindful use of social media. Using them will help you find the necessary balance and digital detox and giving up social media altogether will not be necessary.
