Read the text about pros and cons of wind turbines with five missing sentences. In each gap (1‑5) write a letter that corresponds to the missing sentence (A‑F), so the text makes logical sense. One sentence doesn’t fit with any gap.
Protect people and wildlife from wind turbines
Wind turbines all over the world contribute to hundreds of thousands of bird and bat deaths. Some of them crash into turbine blades. Your family is eco‑conscious, so you have recently installed a wind turbine near your house. Write an email to a friend from England about using wind energy. In the email:

  • inform your friend when and why your family started to use wind energy;

  • inform your friend about the benefits of the wind energy in your house;

  • explain in what way wind energy benefits the environment;

  • encourage your friend to start using wind power. 

Your answer should be 100–150 words long.
