As such, Black Friday dealsdeals, dealdeals and discountsdiscounted, discount (verb)discounts are extreme. So, what can we expect from Black Friday?
In the United States, shops open very early. Often, the salessalesales start as early asas… as…as early as midnight! Black Friday is extremely popular because you can buy products that are 50% or even 70% offoffoff. You can also enjoy deals like buy one and get one freebuy one, get one freebuy one and get one free. Many people believe that if you want to buy something expensive, you had better wait for Black Friday. For example, home applianceshome applianceshome appliances are some of the most popular Black Friday products. In contrastin contrastIn contrast to what they cost during the year, on Black Friday they can be purchased almost for free! That’s why Americans will form long queuesqueuesqueues in front of shops and sometimes even competecompete (verb)compete for the products on saleon saleon sale.
Black Friday is closely associatedclosely associatedclosely associated with advertisingadvertisingadvertising. For weeks leading upleading upleading up to sales, people see countlesscountlesscountlessadsads, adads of Black Friday discounts. It’s difficult to resistresist (verb)resist such commercialscommercials, commercialcommercials. After all, would you rather buy something for the full price or for less than usual? No one wants to pay more thanmore thanmore than they need to.

Then, on the day of the sale, they “lower” the price to what it originallyoriginallyoriginally was. It’s nothing more than a marketing trickmarketing trickmarketing trick. That's why many people would rather wait for after‑Christmas sales than to buy products on Black Friday.
As such, the event can either be a great opportunityopportunityopportunity or a disappointing scamscamscam. That’s why you should always tracktrack (verb)track the price of the product that you want to purchasepurchase (verb)purchase. Remember, you had better buy products when they’re at their lowest price, no matter if it’s on Black Friday or not!
