Welcome to my blog! It’s Anna again!Today, I’m going to tell you about our school project. It is called “Top Ten”. Every year our headmasterheadmaster, Mr Hovell, wants to know which subject is number one in our school. He needs to plan our lessons well. He always talks to all the students from our school! He has a lot of work – he talks to more than 300 students! After that he writes a special reportreport for the students and the other teachers. The report is very long and complicatedcomplicated so here are only the most interesting things.
Number one school subject in our school is… biology! We love doing experiments in our lablab, we like wearing our lab coatslab coats and goggles. Our teachers show us videos about strange plantsplants and animals. We learn about reptilesreptiles, birds, mammalsmammals, and use microscopesmicroscopes to look at virusesviruses or bacteriabacteria. Sometimes we also do experimentsdo experiments.
Subject number two is… geography. We have a lot of interesting objects in our geography classroom. Lots of mapsmaps, globesglobes and different books with beautiful photos. What we like best are the field tripsfield trips with Ms Brown. We spend whole days outside and talk about rivers or mountains. We also collect rocksrocks and bring them to our geography classroom.
Subject number three is… ICTICT (it is information communication technologyinformation communication technology). Everyone likes computers and we have special softwaresoftware we can use for codingcoding and making our own games.
Subject number four is physical educationphysical education, or PEPE. We are sometimes tiredtired after these lessons but they are never boringboring!
Subject number five is design and technologydesign and technology. These lessons are great because we learn how to be creative and make new things.

And… finally – no. 10 is …. maths! Number ten doesn’t mean we don’t like maths, our teacher, Ms Green is fantastic! Counting is just very difficult when you learn it early in the morning. Thanks to the Top Ten project our maths lessons are now after the lunch breaklunch break! We can concentrateconcentrate better after a good mealmeal!
