Let’s start with one of the biggest shopping centres in the world - the Dubai Mall. In fact, it is the second largestlargest [large]largestmallmallmall in the world! The shopping centre is bigger than 50 football pitchesfootball pitches [football pitch]football pitches! It has 1,200 shops, so shopping there isn’t fastfastfast. You have to walk a lot to buy anything. But the Dubai Mall is not only about shopping. For example, there is a 250‑room hotel, 22 cinema screenscinema screens [ cinema screen]cinema screens and 120 restaurants. There’s more! There is also an underwaterunderwaterunderwater zoo. It has the largest aquariumaquariumaquarium in the world. There are sharkssharks [shark]sharks inside!
The Grand Canal Shoppes in Las Vegas is also a wonderfulwonderfulwonderful place to visit! It looks like an ItalianItalianItalian city with beautiful canalscanals [canal]canals and bridges. You can even take a gondola ride on the water. It is smaller than the Dubai Mall. Inside, you can find more than 160 shops with expensiveexpensiveexpensivebrandsbrands [brand]brands, restaurants and souvenirs. It organises liveliveliveshowsshows [show]shows, too, so you can spend a fantastic time with your family or friends there.
Tourists from around the world come to visit these malls because they are the best places to shop and have fun. Next time you visit one, get ready to have an amazing time.

GRAMATYKA – Stopniowanie przymiotników
W przypadku gdy przymiotnik jednosylabowy kończy się na samogłoskę -e, stopień wyższy przymiotników tworzymy, dodając -r. W pozostałych przypadkach dodajemy końcówkę-er.
Przykład:
small (mały) – smaller (mniejszy)
W przypadku gdy przymiotnik jednosylabowy kończy się na samogłoskę -e, stopień najwyższy tworzymy, dodając-st.W pozostałych przypadkach dodajemy-est.
Uwaga! Stopień najwyższy przymiotnika jest poprzedzonythe.
Przykład:
long (długi) – the longest (najdłuższy).
Należy jednak pamiętać, żethemożemy zastąpić zaimkiem dzierżawczym, tak jak w przypadkumy best friend – mój najlepszy przyjaciel / moja najlepsza przyjaciółka.
Przykłady stopniowania przymiotników:
long (długi) – longer (dłuższy) – the longest (najdłuższy)
short (krótki) – shorter (krótszy) – the shortest (najkrótszy)
nice (miły) – nicer (milszy) – the nicest (najmilszy)
Uwaga! Jeśli przymiotnik kończy się spółgłoską, która poprzedzona jest samogłoską, to należy podwoić tę spółgłoskę.
Przykłady:
big (duży) – bigger (większy) – the biggest (największy)
hot (gorący) – hotter (gorętszy) – the hottest (najgorętszy)
W przypadku gdy przymiotnik dwusylabowy kończy się na-y, w stopniu wyższym zamieniamy je na końcówkę-ier . W stopniu najwyższym zamiast-ywstawiamy końcówkę-iest.
easy (łatwy) – easier (łatwiejszy) – the easiest (najłatwiejszy)
heavy (ciężki) – heavier (cięższy) – the heaviest (najcięższy)
Stopień wyższy przymiotników dwusylabowych, które nie kończą się na-y,i dłuższych przymiotników dodajemymore.Stopień najwyższy tworzymy, dodającthe most.
Przykłady:

Istnieją też przymiotniki nieregularne, które stopniujemy w sposób następujący:
good (dobry) – better(lepszy) – the best (najlepszy)
bad (zły) – worse(gorszy) – the worst (najgorszy)
Używając wyższej formy przymiotnika w porównaniach, najczęściej stosujemy wyrazthan (niż).
