Why is movement so important?

Movement is needed to keep our body in good health. It makes us stronger and more resistant to fatigue. The amount of this energy is measured in units called kilocalories (kcal). The energy of food is also expressed in kilojoules (kJ). When we eat too much and move too little, we get fat. Even the simplest activities allow us to burn calories and take care of a healthy figure.
