There are malls that are far from typical. The one that stands out from the crowdstands out from the crowd [stand out from the crowd]stands out from the crowd is the Dubai Mall, currently the biggest one in the world with more than 1200 shops and over 120 cafes and restaurants. It offers many entertainment options such as an aquarium, an underwater zoo, an ice rink, a dinosaur park, and even a haunted attraction! For world‑class entertainment lovers, there is the Dubai Opera, which offers opera, ballet, concerts or musicals. Sounds amazing, doesn’t it?

GRAMATYKA

Zaimki wskazujące (demonstrative pronouns) - this/that, these/those

Tłumaczenie na polski dokładnie pokazuje znaczenie tych słów jako zaimków wskazujących używanych w sytuacji gdy chcemy odnieść się do rzeczy lub osób znajdujących się blisko nas lub trochę dalej od nas.

this - ten, ta, to (l.pojedyńcza)  these - te, ci (liczba mnoga)

that - tamten, tamta, tamto (liczba pojedyńcza) those - tamci, tamte (liczba mnoga)

Tak więc thisthese używamy, mówiąc o rzeczy lub osobie znajdującej się niedaleko nas.

That i those używamy, mówiąc o rzeczy lub osobie znajdującej się w większej odległości od nas.

This is my book. That one is yours. - Ta bliżej to moja książka. Twoja jest tam dalej.

These dolls belong to my sister. Those cars are also hers. - Te lalki są mojej siostry. Tamte samochody też.

Przysłówki miejsca (adverbs of place) - here/there

Tutaj także użyjemy tłumaczenia na język polski: here - tu/tutaj, there - tam.

Hi, I’m here! - Hej, jestem tutaj!

Come here. - Chodź tutaj.

Are you there? - Jesteś tam?

You can put it over there. - Możesz to tam położyć.
