Drag and drop the elements below to fill in the gaps in the text. There is one extra element that you will not need. There are many people who love working in a school but don’t like teaching. Meet Lucy. Lucy’s mother was a 3.1 1. HR specialist, 2. coach, 3. counsellor, 4. principal, 5. teacher, 6. teachers, 7. janitor. She told her many stories of school life but spent her evenings marking tests and worrying about her students. Lucy didn’t want to do the same but loved listening to the stories about students’ lives.
When she turned 19, Lucy found a job as a 3.2 1. HR specialist, 2. coach, 3. counsellor, 4. principal, 5. teacher, 6. teachers, 7. janitor in the local school. She greeted students, listened to their problems and made sure their classrooms were always clean. She got the nickname of ‘Young Momma Lucy’. Many students shared their problems with her instead of consulting them with the school 3.3 1. HR specialist, 2. coach, 3. counsellor, 4. principal, 5. teacher, 6. teachers, 7. janitor.
Lucy was great at her job but she was also ambitious. In the evenings she started training the school’s sports team. Now she was also a 3.4 1. HR specialist, 2. coach, 3. counsellor, 4. principal, 5. teacher, 6. teachers, 7. janitor. After the first year, the team won all the matches in the season!
She sometimes wished she was the school 3.5 1. HR specialist, 2. coach, 3. counsellor, 4. principal, 5. teacher, 6. teachers, 7. janitor. She could manage the school then and make important decisions about the 3.6 1. HR specialist, 2. coach, 3. counsellor, 4. principal, 5. teacher, 6. teachers, 7. janitor who worked there. She didn’t have a suitable degree, though. But that didn’t stop her from joking and telling new students she used to be a principal in her previous school. She was so serious they believed her every time!
