Do You Really Need All Those Jobs? There are many different jobs in any institution. We tend totend to see the main ones and forget about all the others. There is always somebody we don’t see. A school is no exceptionexception.
There is a range ofa range of different jobs to do. No matter what the job is, each person deservesdeserves respectrespect. Moreover, all the jobs are important. Can you imagine your school without the caretakercaretaker welcoming you the moment you enter the building? Can you imagine how many problems there would be without your headteacherheadteacher managing the school?
These two jobs are only the tip of an icebergthe tip of an iceberg. There is the librarianlibrarian who makes sure you know where to look for information. There is also the secretarysecretary who takes care of all the paperworkpaperwork. Well… almost all the paperwork because things that involve money are the tasks of the accountantaccountant.
The school handymanhandyman is another job that is easily overlookedoverlooked but without him the desks and chairs would soon fall apartfall apart. The computers and the school network wouldn’t workwithout an IT technicianIT technician as well. There are many more people than just the teachers keeping the school alive.
And outside of school there are also people without whom your education would be much harder. How about your life without this great tutortutor who comes to your house every week to explain the difficult aspects of physics? And despite all the fear you might feel towards the Matura examinerexaminer you are going to meet one day, they are also very important to your career – as without them, you wouldn’t be able to pass your Matura exam.
