When I decided to copy the song from the internet and post it on my social media account as my own, I didn’t think much of it. Well, who would make a big deal over one song? My friends gave me so many likes for it and I was getting more and more followers. I really liked being famous. Unfortunately, one day the author of the song saw it on my social media account and informed the police. My social media account was deleted and I lost all my followers. On top of that, I received a very high fine. Now I regret that I didn’t think about the consequences when I stole someone’s song.

I was in such a hurry when I was parking my car in the street this morning. I was running late and forgot to look at the road signs. As it turned out, I parked in a disabled drivers’ space. I don’t mind getting the fine, as it was clearly my fault. What makes me feel bad is that many disabled drivers park in this street and my mistake caused them a lot of trouble. It really taught me a lesson!

When I was younger, I really liked nice clothes but hardly had enough money to afford them. One day, when I was trying on a shirt in a changing room, I thought: who would know if I put it in my bag and walk away? I didn’t think of the consequences and, when the security guard stopped me by the exit door, he called the police. The worst thing was that when the police hand‑cuffed me and took me away, many of my friends were there and saw it. Now I have already served my prison sentence, but many people still think of me as a thief. I wish I had never done it. The wrong decision took only a few seconds but really changed my life for the worse.

I was so proud when I bought my first car. It wasn’t very expensive, but it could actually go at a surprisingly high speed. One day I decided to try how fast it could go. When I was already driving the maximum speed, I saw the police car’s lights behind me. The police stopped me. I had to spend all my money on the fine I got, but that was not the worse part. The policeman said that I should really think about the other people I put in danger by driving so fast. He made me imagine that I could actually hurt others if there was a traffic accident. Now I always remember to obey the speed limits and try to drive safely.

Last month, I got some pocket money from my parents, so I decided to go shopping. I really like reading, so I went straight to my favourite bookshop to buy some new books. The bus was really crowded and I felt people pushing around me. One man pulled my bag and it fell on the floor. The man apologised and I picked the bag up. I didn’t think much of it and the man got off the bus at the next stop. When I got to the bookshop and was just about to pay for the books at the till, I realised my money was gone! I called the police and they checked the CCTV on the bus. Luckily, they recognised the man who stole my money. He got arrested soon after and I got my money back. He must be a repeat offender because he ended up in jail for two years.
