Well, when March comes, it is usually coldcold and often snowysnowy. Then, after the snow, it is a bit coolcool, but warm. The snow is like a white lion’s teeth. The warm weather is calmcalm like a lamb.
The British often say: “It’s raining cats and dogsIt’s raining cats and dogs”. But we don’t usually see cats and dogs falling down from the sky. They say it when it is raining heavilyheavily. So remember to take an umbrella with you when you go out.
A storm in a teacupA storm in a teacup is not about tea and it's not about the rain, either. We say it when we worry about a situation that isn’t important. When we are very happy, we say we are on cloud nineare on cloud nine. And when you are in fogfog, it is not about foggyfoggy weather. You just don’t know or don’t understand the situation. And what about feeling sad or sick? We can say that you are under the weatherare under the weather.
