Attention all actors and crew!

Dress rehearsal is scheduled on Thursday, April 25th, at 4 p.m. in the Literature Classroom. All actors should come with their lines memorised and costumes ready to wear. Dressers will be needed in the wings in case of any wardrobe malfunction. Crew members responsible for props are asked to come 30 minutes earlier to set up the scenery. We all want a flawless performance so please be prepared and come on time! See you there!

Hello everybody,

This month, my posts will be about theatre.

I must apologise for not updating the blog for a while, but I’ve been working on a project called “Plays and Performances.” You are going to see the results soon.

Today, I would like to focus on the play called “The Ferryman.” It tells the story of an activist who turned into a farmer. The play was excellent. The cast, the script, the props — everything was flawless, so it received a standing ovation at the end, and the actors got about seven or eight curtain calls!

I was completely enchanted by the performance. I felt engaged in the plot, which was full of suspense, and kept the audience on the tenterhooks until the last act.

I would encourage everybody to see theatre plays more often. It helps you forget about problems for a while and feel the emotions of the characters presented on stage. It leaves you energised and wanting more.
