Exercise 8

Endurance competitions have a lot of advantages and are a popular type of sporting event. Write an email to a friend to encourage them to participate in an endurance competition that you have signed up for. In your email:

  • inform about the venue and time of the competition and the way in which they will be organised;

  •  write how you were encouraged to participate and by whom;

  •  explain the rules of organisation of the competition;

  •  express your hopes for the future related to that sport.

Your answer should be 100‑150 words long.
