When I went to primary school I met an extraordinary person. It was Mrs Jenkins, my head teacher. I was a little girl, really shy and scared of everything. Unfortunately, I went to school with a girl from my neighbourhood who treated everybody with disrespect and she started bullying me one day. I couldn’t solve the problem myself and one day I was even planning to play truant. Mrs Jenkins saw me crying, stopped me, and started talking to me. I told her everything but asked her to keep it secret. She promised not to tell anyone and to help me herself. I didn’t know how she did it, but the girl never bullied me again. After a few years, I found out that Mrs Jenkins was the girl’s mother! Can you believe that? Anyway, I’m still really grateful for the conversation and help.

Your friend wants to be a model student, just like you. You promised to prepare a list which will include the advice which is supposed to help him/her in achieving the goal. Write the list. (7‑10 sentences).

Recently, you’ve witnessed your classmate bullying another student. You’d like to share your thoughts on what happened with other people. Write a blog post about:

the results of the situation;
the consequences he had to face;
your disapproval of such actions.

Your post should consist of 100–150 words.

Hi guys,

You won’t believe what happened yesterday at my school! One of my classmates broke a window with a book!

The glass was everywhere and our friends almost got hurt! It was terrifying.

The teacher called the police and, after a few hours of talking to him and to his parents as well, we found out he got suspended.

I think it’s a fair punishment for doing such a terrible thing. I will never tolerate this kind of misbehaviour as it’s not only stupid, but also dangerous for other people.

I would like to hear from you on this topic,
