WARNING - ROOM RULES
Alex, welcome to the new life in MY room.
In this room you can:
- do what you like if you keep quiet. I have to study for university and need to concentrate;
- play my video games. But please, use the headphones, because noise gets on my nerves.
In this room you cannot:
- bring guests without warning me first. I plan my days well in advance and unexpected guests could ruin that;
- play with any toys that smell bad. I hate your spark and smoke balls – use them outside.
One last note: Could you please remember to close the door when you go out? I don’t want our mother to see the mess by accident.
THANK YOU FOR FOLLOWING THESE RULES

Dear Mark,
It’s just the beginning of the school year and I’ve come up with an idea to organise an end‑of‑summer disco party.
I’m sure this could be a great chance to get to know new students and have some fun together. All my classmates love discos!
The best time for the party is next Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. because the school hall is available and we could organise it there. There's plenty of room for dancing.
I’ve already talked about the party to my classmates and our form teacher. They are all going to help. She's promised to ask other teachers to come as well.
There are plenty of things to do before the party. We need to borrow loudspeakers, ask Tom to be our DJ and make posters to invite everyone. It's important or the party will be a failure.
