To my mind…, A town that develops…, If adding…, the place is more likely to…, On the other hand…, it is common knowledge that… They tend to… causing…
To my mind, the most important positive impact of tourism is the possibility to earn money that will stay in the town’s budget and allow further investments to be made. A town that develops economically gives more job opportunities to the locals and their standard of living is improved. If you add a well‑developed advertising campaign for local goods such as food specialities, the place is more than likely to succeed. On the other hand, it is common knowledge that the more tourists come to a destination, the bigger the “mess” in town is. Tourists tend to be noisy and, what is the worst thing about them, they do not follow any rules. They litter everywhere, enter forbidden areas in the forests or national parks causing devastation of the natural habitats of animals and plants.

The Tourism Dilemma
As… once said:.., Little do we realise that…
Visiting places is undoubtedly one…, Being exposed to…,
Unfortunately, holiday makers…, Probably some of us…,Due to…,
So, no matter where we go…,Are you of the same mind about…?
The Tourism Dilemma
Ed Rendell once said: “Tourism is our second biggest industry in terms of the people it employs.” Little do we realise that our trips influence the destinations in a negative and positive way.
Visiting places is undoubtedly one of the biggest pleasures for many, isn’t it? Being exposed to the interaction with people from different cultural backgrounds increases the levels of happiness hormones. The local communities seem to have a chance to set up their businesses, give jobs to others, while the town, with a low rate of unemployment, might focus on finding ways to preserve local historical sites and other places.
Unfortunately, holiday makers tend to forget good manners while being on holiday and they are prone to cause social problems such as: being loud in the streets or drink‑driving. Especially in high season, the crime rate increases. Probably some of us have witnessed some kind of unwanted behaviour. Due to such incidents, local people might suffer from anxiety and stress. Constant noise and crowds of people make residents feel unconfident and lost.
So, no matter where we go, we should keep in mind that we are guests and leave the places unspoiled. Are you of the same mind about it?
