It is not easy to be a celebrity. You have to accept the fact that the public wants to know everything about you, so there is demand for juicy stories about your private life and your pictures in gossip magazines. You are followed unrelentingly by paparazzi and have to look perfect all the time, because they want to take a photo of you in any situation, the more embarrassing, the better. Having infatuated fans seems like a fun thing but it sometimes means that they bother you with their presence everywhere you go and with their love letters and emails. The worst part is stalkers: sometimes they are paparazzi, sometimes crazy fans, whose unreturned feelings turn to aggression and threats of killing you. Sometimes they harass you so much that you have to sue them and fight legal battles in court for months or even years.

Hi everybody,
Have you seen what jean19 wrote here? I would like to write a few things about it.
This person writes that because society gives celebrities a wonderful life and vast riches, loss of privacy should be an expected part of the price that they pay for being famous. And this argument about celebrity gossip teaching us a lesson about addictions, marriage or health?
I completely disagree with this opinion, because I think that celebrities should get their share of human dignity and their rights as human beings shouldn’t be violated only because they make a lot of money. They don’t sign any contract in which they agree that their privacy is taken away from them in return for stardom.
Whenever I see such comments I feel sad, but I’m not intimidated by them and I will always react to such absurd arguments. I believe that somebody should fight on behalf of celebrities.
I hope that there will be other internet users who agree with me. Please write your supportive comments below.
