My problem has always seemed a bit weird to people when I started talking about it. I hate sweets! You probably can’t even imagine such a situation. Just like most people I know. Why is it a problem?, you may ask. “At least you don’t have to fight obesity and visit a dentist too often”, they usually say. They are right, but they don’t see my daily life from my perspective. Whenever I go to parties, visit people on their birthday, or when there’s any other occasion to celebrate, people serve sweets. Cakes, biscuits, fizzy drinks, ice cream, and so on. First, it’s really difficult to explain to your friends that you really do not feel like eating anything that contains sugar and it’s not because you’re on a diet or in a bad mood. Another thing is that quite often, there’s nothing else to eat, so I frequently leave parties hungry. Last but not least, many people tend to forget or ignore the fact that I hate sugar and I still keep getting birthday or Christmas gifts with sugary content. Am I going to eat it out of politeness? No, I’m not. It’s not a problem to share sweets with my sister and brother, but would you like to keep getting something you don’t like for your whole life? I don’t think so. Well, now you see, consuming too much sugar can probably cause as many problems as not eating it at all.

In the picture I can see some people eating out. They are in a modern‑looking restaurant. We can see a lot of dishes on the table and it looks like all the four people sitting there are enjoying their food. The woman in the foreground is biting a cookie. She’s smiling so the cookie must be delicious. Additionally, there are also some other people in the background. They might be waiting for a table or for someone else to join them.

Hi guys,
I’ve just read an article about the ‘starvation diet’. No food for two weeks and they promise incredible results, like 20 kg body loss. I can’t believe someone recommends such a torture, but most of all, taking such a risk in terms of health!
The effects are quick, but a lot of people who have tried it ended up in hospital! Many women desire to look like models and actresses at any cost.
I’m sure that if you don’t eat for two weeks, you will not only lose 20 kilos but also your health! I definitely say NO to such horrible ideas.
There’s nothing better to keep you fit and healthy than a balanced diet. Try it to find out it can be tasty, healthy, and give you much better results than any starvation diet.
