Hello, I’m Carlos, I am 33 years old. I’m a photographer. I’m from Mexico, but right now I live in the United States. I am married. I live in a house in New York. I live with my wife and two daughters. My wife is Samantha and my two daughters are Rebecca and Maria. We also have a dog. He is called Hector.

In my spare time, I like watching movies. I love sci‑fi movies like Space Odyssey. I love going to the cinema with my wife. I love travelling, too. My favourite travel spot is Japan. I want to travel to China one day and take a lot of interesting pictures. I don’t particularly like playing video games – they steal so much time.

I hope to meet new friends on this forum and maybe one day we can travel and take pictures together. Send me a message if you like travelling and photography!

As he’s been born and raised in the middle of England, he feels fully     6.2 ETu uzupełnij.     His family have got a really nice, cosy home in Middleton. Yes, Middleton! I was Kate-in-Middleton for two weeks! But back to the story. Ghalen introduced me to other people from his     6.3 cTu uzupełnij.     They seem to take good care of each other, and sometimes organize cooking and dancing parties. They are a living     6.4 Tu uzupełnij     that people can support each other and make their lives better. I also learned about my friend’s     6.5 fTu uzupełnij     background. They are very happy together. People in the streets are very     6.7 dTu uzupełnij.     They dress in different ways and there are many ethnic     6.8 mTu uzupełnij     visible everywhere you go. Ms. White, I hope that after this presentation you will forgive me and allow me to retake the test some time soon. Thank you for your attention!

Exercise 8

Your city council announced  a competiton for a slogan and a mural referring to Polish culture. Write a blog entry (100‑150 words) in which you:

  • describe what the competition is all about;

  • explain why you want to participate in it;

  • describe your slogan and the graphics that should come with it;

  • provide an explanation why your idea is good.

Rada twojego miasta ogłosiła konkurs na slogan i mural dotyczące polskiej kultury. Stwórz wpis na blog (100–150 wyrazów), w którym opiszesz:

  • na czym polega konkurs;

  • dlaczego chcesz wziąć w nim udział;

  • jaki slogan proponujesz i jaka grafika powinna mu towarzyszyć;
