Why Is It a Good Idea to Eat Fruit and Vegetables?You are what you eat. That's why it's important to have a good diet. It keeps us healthy and full of energy. Our body can grow and we can learn new things. A good diet means a lot of fruit and vegetables.
Vegetables are the source of many important vitaminsvitamins and mineralsminerals. You can eat some vegetables rawraw, for example on a sandwich. These vegetables are tomatoestomatoes, cucumberscucumbers or pepperspeppers. But you can't eat all vegetables raw. You need to cook cabbagecabbage, broccolibroccoli or mushroomsmushrooms. Other healthy food with many vitamins and minerals are avocadosavocados and olivesolives. But remember - they have a lot of fatfat, so you can't eat too many!

There are many books and websites where you can find information on healthy diet. You can also ask your parent or teacher for some advice. They can help you choose healthy food.
