Due to frequent failures of our new double flatbed knitting machinem4cb9de9671ed6434_1497279637332_0double flatbed knitting machine, resulting from it being operated incorrectly, please use the following procedure when working on the machine.
To start knitting on double beds:
1. Insert the cast‑on comb for tensioning the knitted fabricm4cb9de9671ed6434_1497279718401_0tensioning the knitted fabric between the beds from the bottom so that the cast‑on comb teethm4cb9de9671ed6434_1497279738479_0cast‑on comb teeth protrude above the yarn drawn between the needles. Pass the wire through the holes in the teeth, set the carriagem4cb9de9671ed6434_1497279743621_0carriage on the left side of the machine and the yarn guide on the right side.
2. Switch on a specific number of needles in both bedsm4cb9de9671ed6434_1497279733582_0beds.
3. Turn on the risersm4cb9de9671ed6434_1497279748379_0risers, set the sinkersm4cb9de9671ed6434_1497279753543_0sinkers to make the first rowm4cb9de9671ed6434_1497279762480_0first row.
4. By slowly moving the carriage to the right side of the machine, open the needle latchesm4cb9de9671ed6434_1497279767416_0needle latches. Turn on the yarn guidem4cb9de9671ed6434_1497279772536_0yarn guide and move the carriage from the right to the left to draw the net (the yarn curves in and out on all the needles at work in both beds).
5. Lower the cast‑on combm4cb9de9671ed6434_1497279777622_0cast‑on comb and check if it is not on the hook of any needle.
6. Hang weights on the comb.
7. Set the sinkers and risers to circular knittingm4cb9de9671ed6434_1497279782995_0circular knitting and pass the carriage twice along the bed.
8. Set the sinkers and risers on the appropriate knitted fabric and continue knitting.
