Introductionm959f702be7e99210_1528450127855_0Introduction

In this project, your task is to design a virtual ZOO and make a multimedia presentation about its inhabitants.

Preparation:

- Choose photos of animals that you want to have in your ZOO. These can be photos taken by you or found on the Internet. In the selected graphic programme, crop them, if necessary, correct colour and contrast, and finally save in the selected folder.
- In the graphic programme, prepare a ZOO map with the places where the animals will live.
- Make the logo of your ZOO that you place in the presentation.
- Find information on selected animals in available sources and save it in a text file.
- In a text editor, prepare an invitation to the presentation of your ZOO: insert the ZOO logo created by you, write and format the content of the invitation, specify the date of your presentation. Finally, print the invitations.

To complete the project, you need:

- image recording device (camera, tablet or smartphone);
- a computer workplace equipped with a raster graphic processing programme and a programme for creating a multimedia presentation;
- screenscreenscreen and projectorprojectorprojector at the time of presentation of your work.

Procedurem959f702be7e99210_1528446435040_0Procedure

You already have all the materials you need to prepare a multimedia presentation. Before you start creating it in the programme you choose, carefully plan it. Think about the layoutlayoutlayout and content of the subsequent slides. Think about how you present them.

In the programme for creating a multimedia presentation:

- the title page where you can place the logo and the name of the ZOO, its address,
- on the next slide, present the ZOO map,
- on the next ones, place photos and descriptions of the animals (remember to give the sources you use),
- the final page.

Take care of the presentation aesthetics. Decide on one fontfontfont style. Choose colours carefully. Arrange all the elements while maintaining the rules of composition.

Consider a method of presenting the slides to gain interest in the audience. To do this, use:

- selected entrance and exit animations of elements in the slides,
- choose slide transitions.

Remember that less sometimes means more!

Slide animationslide animationSlide animationOne of the frequently used programmes for creating presentations is Power Point. It offers a lot of possibilities for animating slides.

To add graphic animation functions to the slide, use the Animations option. Then click on the selected element and add the selected entrance as well as exit effect.

Next, we choose how to start the animation and the duration of each stage. We can check on a regular basis whether the selection of parameters is accurate using the Play option located on the right side of the panelpanelpanel. For each element on the slide, we can set the animation parameters separately. Unwanted animations can be removed using the drop‑down list located next to the name of each image in the right panelpanelpanel.

You can modify the change between consecutive slides using the Transition option. You can choose between many ways of how consecutive slides appear and disappear, as well as choose the time between transitions. You can also decide whether the transitions will occur automatically or when you press a key. It is also possible to add a sound accompanying the slide transition.
