Mr. Bricks: Hi, this is Mark Bricks speaking. My son, Todd, is in class 5.
B: Todd would like to join some more Friday Clubs, you know. He has some free time and we would like him to learn something new and have a good time.
S: What does he like to do in his free time? We have some free places in five clubs at the moment. Drama Club is very popular.
B: Drama…? No, I don’t think so. But Todd loves computers, that’s for sure. What else…. Well, he enjoys organizing things. Last year he and his classmates organized a Helping Hand project. I remember it was a great success – they helped some local elderly people with the shopping.
S: We have a Game Design Club on Friday mornings and there is a new Charity Club on Friday afternoons.
B: Wow, that sounds great, what time is the Game Design Club?
S: It starts at 8.30.
B: No, that won’t work, he has a Literature Club at that time. I’m sure he wouldn’t like to resign. What about the Charity Club?
S: It’s every Friday afternoon from 4 to 5pm.
B: That’s perfect. Could you please sign him in then? Can you tell me more about the club?
S: Well, this year there are two charity projects in the club. One is about collecting money for the local children's hospital, the other is about helping our younger pupils with their homework.
B: Sounds perfect! I’m sure he will like it. Thank you very much and have a nice day.
S: Same to you Mr. Bricks. Goodbye!
