Electronic reporting system
The hypertext contains instructions of using an electronic reporting system of shipping vessels.

The obligation to use the Electronic Reporting System was imposed on Poland as a part of the common fisheryfishery policy of the European Union. Each fishing vesselfishing vessel is obliged to fill in the electronic fishing logbook and send the reports to the Fisheries Monitoring Centre FMX. At the first launch of the fishing logbook, the standard information should be provided, that is the information identifying the shipping vessel by means of providing the vessel’s:
- name,
- call‑signcall‑sign,
- port of registryport of registry.
The information entered next should include the ports and fishing gearfishing gear that will be used, data about the unit’s captain and its crew members.
Once the initial information is provided, the information on the departure from the port should be entered. No other information can be recorded until this information is entered. This information is entered after the Departure button is hit in the browser window. The data included here describes when and in which port the triptrip has started.
The data specifies:
- the time of departure from the port,
- the date of departure and the port itself.
- the planned activity and information on the fishing gear.
The next report is the fishing reportfishing report. The most important details to enter here include:
- the information on the fishing gear,
- the date and time of the fishing,
- the fishing positionfishing position entered as a static rectangle, or the position expressed by means of latitude and longitude,
- the information on the fishing where the species of fishspecies of fish is specified. The three‑letter FAO code of the fish species should be provided and its weight.
After the last fishing operation is carried out, and before returning to the port, an end of fishing declarationend of fishing declaration can be sent. The End of Fishing command should be selected in the browser window.
