People cough at you, they sometimes grab you by the hand and shout: “Where’s the nurse? Are you the nurse?” You have to explain to them that you’re only a volunteer here. But by the end of the day when I am ready to go home, I can often hear them ask other staff: “Where’s that nice volunteer that played chess with me today?
